Aloe latex isn’t the same substance as rubber latex, but the yellow sap contains highly reactive compounds that can cause irritation or allergic responses in your case.

is it like regular latex? bc i tried it once and had a rlly bad allergic reaction and that might be why, bc im severely allergic to latex

I’m just curious if you know - I had an aloe plant a few years back and used it topically for a bad diaper rash my son had. I didn’t know it needed to be soaked or anything then but it made the diaper rash SO much worse. I’ve avoided aloe in general since because I thought it was an allergy. Could it be an allergy to just latex? Or could not soaking cause skin irritation as well? Thank you☺️
