They used to be great! Turns out they *just* had their first profitable quarter ever after 16 years, apparently by cutting corners and charging normal optometrist prices 😭 oh and apparently they also fired/outsourced their whole support staff last summer and only gave them 2 weeks severance (after the mandatory 60 days paid since layoffs have to be announced 60 days in advance but they let them go immediately.)

all those online stores don't put the exact prescription.... google it, they have tested glasses from onkine stores. I stick to Costco

I use Zenni because all of the places are terrible and it’s faster to get a new pair. I was wanting to replace the lenses in one of my favorite pairs for my new script and it’s more than what I paid for them originally. I need to buy an optical shop 🤦🏾♀️

I went into Warby Parker and they quoted me almost $400 for a pair of glasses. I walked out so fast. That’s wild they don’t have a repair service. 😩

I get my glasses from Tijn (2 pairs $120) they ship from China to Jersey to home so it takes awhile but I’ve been happy w my purchases from them

And so damn expensive. I go to Americas best now. I think I got 2 pairs for a100 bucks. So if they break or anything happens to him, I’m not out of a ton of money like WP. I fell for them as well. Never again

I’ve had a good experience with eyebuydirect but I’ve never had to call in a repair issue so I can’t speak to that but the glasses are affordable and cute. LensCrafters felt too expensive for me for the same frames you can get less expensive elsewhere. They had good eye exams tho
