@no_notice_travel: Athens is the perfect February destination, especially if you're coming from the UK, or any other country that is still very cold (it is still winter after all). 📍 The weather is gorgeous. It feels like Spring already. So whilst I was walking around in a T-shirt in the very pleasant 17 degrees in the sunshine, the Greeks were still wrapped up pretty warm. The difference in perception I guess. 📍 There are less tourists. There are still plenty, so if you are visiting very popular sites, especially the Acropolis, go early. I went for about 9am and bought my ticket on site without waiting. When I was leaving, there were long lines to buy the tickets and to go in. 📍The food scene is amazing. Endless cafes, patisseries, restaurants, taverns, independent cafes, bakeries, rooftop bars. And very reasonably priced. So, what are you waiting for?
