He’s a literal homicide detective. He has seen the worst of humankind and of human nature. I’m not surprised that that’s how he acts. Doesn’t make it OK but I can understand.

I work in justice tech and I'd recommend the agency's peer support or going to therapy. They handle way worse things than the public ever hears about and this matches some reactions to cases I've heard about from officers I work with. Therapy is not automatically taboo to all agencies. I've worked with ones that are open to it so it's not a good excuse to avoid it

I mean he's obviously seen a lot of things and has seen how people really act so I wouldn't judge him too much, but he's definitely going a bit overboard in my opinion
