I worked there as a janitor for about 6 months and it was awful. I witnessed seniors who had be working there for years get a letter from her as their reward. That’s pretty much it. Also the locals can’t afford to go, they have free locals week but it’s always packed and they only do it once a year. As an aquarium the place is great but as a business it really sucks.

You guys are so worried abt the prices but with out the prices the animals would not be taken care of they use y’all’s money to get all that water the temps these animals need think abt it… just by having a dog people spend thousands not imagen these animals..

Julie packard came to speak at one of my lectures at ucsc and the way she speaks of the aquarium is so moving! You can tell she has a deep passion for conservation and fostering that in our future through the love of the ocean! Also fyi if you receive ebt feel free to enjoy the aquarium at the expense of presenting ur card to an employee(please review specific on there site or call in). This is a non skip if you visit California even us marine biologist love it!
