Peaple clowning on james OG voice, but truth is many peaple have goofy voices even during heavy momments in life, i can feel the raw emotion in his, just like Mary's. i find his awkward voice work adds to the realness, and the dream like dread. The game doesn't dramatizes his voice cuz it doesn't have to, the honestly in the dialogue and tone does it all on its own. Or at least thats how i feel about it.

They improved the bad things about this game like the characters acting and gameplay but also failed to capture mary’s acting 😭😭
