@cookbook.kitchen: Replying to @Jessica 1:2 ratio = espresso math made simple ☕️ If you use 18g of coffee, you want 36g of espresso out. (Double the weight = balanced shot.) It’s the beginner sweet spot, not too strong, not too weak. 🎯 #espresso #espressoshots #homeespresso #espressotips #breville
When I do mine it makes 67g! I am in tears bc I can not get it to taste normal and not sour!

We’ve just bought a sage bean to cup express, it arrived yesterday & we can’t work out the grind. Can anyone help? I do 18g & for a double expresso it only gives us 15 sec poor & more like a single expresso. We tried loads of different grind settings & it still won’t work. Rave coffee beans.

What are the mL supposed to be? I’m confused because you measure liquids in volume and grams is a measurement of weight.

if i do 18g of beans and then weigh it out after grinding it gives me like 52 grams of coffee. Do i take some of the grounds out to be 18g? or do i keep it and run it until it gives me 36g of espresso?
