This is also the danger of Western media having a monopoly on institutions we take as “the norm” as they shape our reality w/o us even knowing. From something as seemingly benign as FIFA, who will not let Russia participate in the WC bc of its “illegal invasion of Ukraine” (yet will not disqualify America or 🇮🇱) or something more nefarious as all major western outlets from BBC, CNN, Fox, to NYT, WP, etc, all seemingly frame Iran as the aggressor
