Someone told me once senior dogs can get whisker fatigue 😩. I got my boy a placemat to eat from, or sometimes even just the floor.

My senior girl only would eat out of my hands too. She also decided in her golden years she was done with “dog food” and rather liked homemade stews. Of course I indulged her ❤️

Perhaps add liquid to her kibble, water? There is bone broth you can add specifically made for dogs. Open Farm has a liquid form. The Honest Kitchen has a powder form to mix in with water. These two have excellent ingredients. It helped my senior.

cook her food! her mouth probs hurts & kibble isn’t good. i can assure you it’s worth making her whole food nourishing meals in her senior yrs!!!

I suggest switch to wet food or patè. I have 2 senior dogs. My first one crossed the rainbow bridge 7 months ago and she became really picky the last few months. I also suggest get blood work done, mine turned out to have kidney disease 😢💔
