My gosh he was 22 and I was almost 21. He took my breath away. I worked in a grocery store that he shopped at. It took him 4 months to ask me out. My cashier said he “accidentally” left his checkbook so I called the number and when he came to pick it up before work he was dressed in his Delta Airlines clothes. I was weak in the knees. He asked me out. We went out almost a week later and it was so magical. I love this man to his core 35 years later. Married since 1994

I met my husband at his place of employment. He was responsible for wanding people with a metal detector that came in and out of the building. Making sure these high profile professionals were safe. He told me after we started dating that he wanted to ask me out for quite sometime but thought I would say no. Which I did say no several times. 😂 I finally gave in and it was the best decision of my life. After we dated a few times, I’d go back into his place of employment and he would wand me. I loved it. 😂 We’ve been together ever since. Almost 23 years. We’re happier than we’ve ever been. When I met him, I had a 2 year old and a 2 month old baby. He helped me raise them. We have 3 kids of our own. They are now 24💙, 22💙, 21❤️, 20💙and 17💙. He was 34 and I was 21.
