I found an early 50s Westinghouse frost free fridge in an abandoned trailer in the middle of the woods. dragged it home, put a new cord on it, and I’ll be damned it works beautifully. The compressors so quiet I didn’t think it worked at first

We had a 1998 Kitchen aid fridge in our basement for 14 years. The movers brought it up and dropped it hard and my daughter uses it now and it works perfectly to replace the 2013 fridge that died.

After a Hard Day's work we would go to the Local Bar and have drinks and we could always count on seeing Kenny there he would stop by after work also he was a Refrigerator Repair man, Kenny always would tell to never move a Refrigerator and lay it on its side because it could ruin the motor or compressor because of the Oil and if someone did lay it on its side to leave it unplugged for least a week standing upright like it should always be kept when moving, thats why you always see people moving them upright and rarely see them being moved laying down. 😳 I hope you didnt turn that on yet😏because you moved it on it side😅the oil needs to drain back out
