Interesting this generational shift. I’m against my clients keeping their finances separate. It’s obviously their choice but I let them know it does more damage than good a lot of times.

36k on an engagement ring is just insane. if you have the money that's fine, but most people would have to take a loan out. I say buy what you could afford and if that's not good enough for them then walk away.
