with all due respect, women’s month exists for a reason. it was created to remind people of the struggles women have faced throughout history and the strength they showed in overcoming them. women carried heavy burdens in the past—discrimination, inequality, and the challenges that came with fighting for their rights—yet they persevered and earned their place in society today. respect should always go both ways, and it’s important to acknowledge the purpose of spaces created to honor specific histories. women also fought hard for recognition and equality, and women’s month is a time to remember that journey and celebrate it with respect and understanding. pride month already exists to celebrate another community, and in the same way, women’s month deserves to remain a space dedicated to recognizing women and their history. Its about the struggles woman had to face because they were born as a BIOLOGICAL woman. Trans women have helped the movement, but so have men? You can support something and not be part of it, just like how you dont have to be a POC and not support racism. Let woman have their own spaces, and let Trans women have theirs. And before I get comments, please read my message carefully and understand my perspective.
