Okay, here’s my 2 cents: I’m an accounting major and just got my MacBook NEO yesterday. This is the first MacBook i’ve ever owned, and bought it to replace the chromebook that I have. After diving deeper into college, I absolutely DESPISED my chromebook. It was so slow, didn’t run Microsoft apps well (like Word, Excel, etc.). It also didn’t support Lockdown Browser which sucked, bc I had to check out a laptop from my school for exams and I had SO many issues with them. Also to mention, I was not a fan of the layout of ChromeOS. After fiddling around with my NEO yesterday, in my opinion it is so much better than the chromebook I have. It’s faster, has more app support, and I like how I can use my iPad as an extended display if needed.

As a 3rd year engineering major. I’m contemplating this because the price point. But school of engineering advises 16 gb of ram and 512 gigs of storage lol. $650 for Neo or $923 for m4 air lol
