Did you ever have any issues with the MP3 erasing your music? I've heard a lot of people claim that it erased all of their songs which is making me hesitant to get it

if you hold down the menu button you can also "List song name" vs "List file name" :) and the numbers (if the artist did it correctly) should disappear
