Or… u could just plug it into desmos (replace k with x)?

you could just put k^2-k^3~12 in desmos. it takes like 10 seconds

Where are the other two solutions? We need to prove that this is the only solution

k²(1-k)=12 three terms so no more than 3 solutions exist

Once you have -2, polynomial division and quadratic formula will give you the other two solutions: (3+-i√15)/2

just take the k out. u get three answers of 0, and the two other numbers from factoring

Killua :
YOOO I THINK I GET HOW TO DO THIS
so you take k² then you times it by 2 things that when added together gives k²-k³ and since k²×1 is k² and k²×(-k) is -k³ then the full equation is k²(1-k) and add them and you get k² plus k³!!!! but how is this usefull to know? i mean whats actually happening when you rewrite it like that?

ln(k²) - ln(k³) = ln(12)
-ln(k) = ln(12)
ln(k) = ln(1/12)
k = 1/12 which surprisingly will deceive a lot of people
