@artbyahmaad: The City of Flowers 💐 A city once known as a hub of cotton production in Pakistan was called The Cotton Queen. The area of Pattoki is a Hindu-Sikh majority area and people’s earnings were mostly through agriculture. After partition the cotton industry became sick. This city is still a big trade centre for a number of villages attached to it. With time people took advantage of the agriculture land and started planting nurseries. By copying each other, Pattoki people made it their primary survival. The nurseries grew in huge numbers and today it expands to almost 5-7 km long and serves as a paradise for the planting lovers. Pattoki green market is famous all over the Punjab. Pattoki was declared as "Queen of Flowers" by Queen Elizabeth because of the largest Flower Market in the region. People used to export flowers all over the world.
