My daughter is in 9th grade and struggling a bit. With what I am getting from this app is that it is too late to get into a good 4 year. You have to be better than perfect to get into the “good” schools. So weird to have expectations of young people that you don’t have from adults.

one of my friends brothers only had one summer internship and was a part of a few clubs, but he got into the honors college at yale with a scholarship and a likely letter. he also got into harvard. it truly is your essay that locks you in

Idk who to ask abt this anymoree but Im a junior who is a colorguard captain and gets volunteer hours from some colorguard events and pit orchestra only. I have a 3.8 weighted and 3.5 unweighted gpa but im only an honors student w no aps however im signed up for DE english next yr💔 Am i cooked if i wanna get into a college w like a 76% acceptance rate? Im planning on taking the SAT june 6, the august one too and if i need to the sept one. Not to mention idek what i wanna major in i js know i want a well paying job thats different everyday and i kinda suck at stuff abt STEM
