I was at Hartsfield on 3/25. The lines are definitely due to everyone being worried and coming extremely early for their flight. The pic below was taken mid morning. Delta employees/ 1 TSA agent I spoke to said by 8am it looks like a normal travel day. Only in the early mornings it looks like this

Not sure what time they’re trying to say this is, but we got there just after three Wednesday 3/25, took our time parking, got in and it went right to the north checkpoint. As soon as they opened at four we were through in less than 15 minutes

My son was in and out of the international terminal security within 10 minutes. And he checked a bag. But he was indeed flying to Australia.
