✨This is my Chocolate Chip Nutella Cookie Pie, and it might be one of my favorite desserts I’ve made. The cookie layer is thick, buttery, soft, and perfectly chewy, while the center is filled with a rich, gooey layer of Nutella that melts into every bite. The edges bake up golden and slightly crisp, while the middle stays soft and decadent.✨ ~Cookie Dough • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened • 1 cup brown sugar (165 g) • ½ cup granulated sugar (100g) • 1 large egg + 1 egg yolk • 1 tbsp vanilla extract • ½ tsp baking soda • ½ tsp salt • 1 tbsp heavy cream or 2 tbsp yogurt • 280 g all-purpose flour • 1 tsp cornstarch (optional, recommended) • 1 to 1½ cups chocolate chips ~Filling • ¾–1 cup Nutella (225–300 g) ~Instructions 1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch pie dish or springform pan. 2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. 3. Mix in the egg, egg yolk, vanilla, and heavy cream. 4. Add the flour, baking soda, salt, and cornstarch. Mix until just combined. 5. Fold in the chocolate chips. 6. Press half of the cookie dough evenly into the prepared pan. 7. Spread the Nutella over the dough, leaving about a 1-inch border around the edges. 8. Refrigerate the cookie pie for 30 minutes after spreading the Nutella layer. This helps the Nutella firm up, making it easier to cover with the remaining cookie dough and creating a more distinct filling layer. 9. Gently flatten pieces of the remaining dough and place them over the Nutella layer, sealing the edges as much as possible. 10. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center is just set (if the top is browning too quickly, loosely cover it with aluminum foil during the last 10–15 minutes of baking). 11. Allow the cookie pie to cool for at least 1 hour before slicing. The filling will continue to set as it cools. Serve it warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for the ultimate dessert experience. #chocolatechip #cookiepie #cookies #EasyRecipe #CapCut
