I was once fired from a job where I was doing the most, and also masking the most. I was replaced with 19 in house people and 3 new teams of vendors. Great financial decision on their part. A month before I was let go we hired a consultant who told our board "you have no idea how much she's doing. She doesn’t need a boss. She IS the boss. She needs a team." AuDHD here.
