Try „sopocka” ham is very tasty 😌you can find in Tesco-Polish section (Sopocka -morliny (blue pack))

Oh that's a shame they're in cling, mine does use paper which is nice. the fat layer can be a lot but I think we know I'm not that adverse 🤣

if you don't like the fat layer I recommend cutting it off and frying it with scrambled eggs instead of bacon, it's pretty good

Polish food is amazing, truly some of the tastiest food ever. Lidl has some good stuff available, and the Polish aisles in Tesco keep getting better
