I’m 54. I used to run cold all the time. But ever since perimenopause hit in my late 30’s, I haven’t been able to regulate my body temperature. For about 10 years, I tended to run hot, magma hot! Now that I’ve been post menopausal for the last five years, my body temperature is on a see-saw of extremes. There is no middle ground, no balance, and no comfy place. I talked to my doctor about it, and she said it’s hormonal. Good luck. My husband was amazingly supportive and understanding with me. That poor man had to wear sweats and a hoodie, all the time, because I couldn’t sleep if I got too hot. I’m sure you are, but being that supportive and flexible for your wife is probably your most comfortable (and likely safest) way through it. Good luck to both of you!

I’m fine without it :
We are the same. We’ve compromised in that it’s cooler in the winter and I have more clothes and blankets, and it’s warmer in the summer and he just… hangs out in the garage I guess. Saves on electricity is how I sold it to him. 🤷♀️

68? I’d fuckin die! I keep ours at 60! I can literally tell if someone bumps it to even 62! I also have fans going all the time! Including a ceiling and oscillating fan in the master bedroom! When it’s in the teens outside, I have the windows in the master bedroom open and still have both fans going! I set my heat to kick on if the inside temp hits 52 inside and then it’s set to heat to 54! I keep plenty of blankets and robes for guests! Lol this is coming from a born and raised Miami girl who just moved to western North Carolina like 2 years ago! I can no longer stand the heat! Visting people sucks! Lol I’m always hot! 😂
