Combining two things I love, cacao and cocktails! Memento Mori specialises in cacao mixology, delivering some spectacular chocolate flavours within smooth and delicious drinks! Using infusion and different parts of cacao, they’ve got everything from plays on classics to drinks inspired by ancient history! A few of my favourites were the Dead Inside (¥2090) with a bourbon and cacao Campari base, giving a rich but balanced taste with the slight tanginess of strawberries, and the Xocoatl (¥2200) that draws inspiration from the Aztec Empire’s Bitter Water traditionally used in rituals, bringing out dark chocolate flavours with a slight punch and a hint of spice!
