As a lover of wisteria and your cool umbrella idea, take it out of the pot and plant it in the ground while you still can. I have the most awesome talavera pot, and I planted a wisteria in it about 10 years ago and now it is so root bound I would either have to break the pot or live with the limited amount it will grow on my pergola. Awesome idea, best of luck
