Don’t quit yet. Try to make it to L6/7 as fast as possible. Once the world figures out productivity =/= quality. There will be drive to hoard senior folks. Essentially stand out from the pack….oh and save cash just in case

Forward deployed engineering isn’t for every engineer; I did it and you end up feeling like a middleman between your customer and the product, so in a way your customer is treating you as the LLM 😂

If u have an passions for video games but ur an software engineer try to get into gaming development because even tho ai can code it can’t be creative with games. But if you dont wanna go into gaming dev then yah switch careers/jobs.
