Two years ago I started doing hex bar deadlifts. To give you context on 8 March 2024 my PB was 145kg x6. A month later I pulled my first 165kg. A few months after that 180kg. Then 185kg, and 195kg. And that’s where I got stuck. Not because I couldn’t get stronger… but because I was vibing instead of following a structured programme (yes, even as a coach🤣). Work got busier. I had to figure out sleep, nutrition, recovery. This year I decided to take it seriously. I designed myself a programme with a goal of getting back to 195kg or more👀 The plan on Saturday was to do x1 with 195kg, which I did and it felt good. So I took a chance.. 200kg🥺 The programme isn’t even finished yet. 3 weeks left. This lift was two years in the making. I attempted it multiple times and failed. That’s why I’m emotional at the end of the video. Because this wasn’t luck. It was years of showing up. Now we keep going. Next stop: 5 blue plates (225kg) Wearing new new @Oner Active 👀 Coming soon!
