@yingjiafei: homemade instant pot yogurt - 1 gallon milk (preferably whole) - large spoonful of yogurt with active cultures (your starter) - (optional) use up any leftover heavy cream - thermometer - pour milk (and any leftover cream) to instant pot and place lid on. press the “yogurt” button until the screen says “BOIL”. instant pot will beep when done. - cool milk down to 110-115F. this will take a couple hours if left alone, or speed up the process by placing the pot into a bowl of ice water and stirring. check often with a thermometer. - once it’s 110-11F, drop the spoonful of starter in and mix thoroughly. - place the inner pot back in the instant pot with the lid. press the “Yogurt” button and adjust until it reads 08:00. let it sit. - after time’s up, you can transfer these into jars or move the inner pot full of yogurt into the fridge so it will thicken up more. leave it for minimum 4-6 hours. - stir well. strain with cheesecloth if you want greek yogurt. #creatorsearchinsights #yogurt @Instant Pot US #fyp
