I have BCBS of AL and they have a baby yourself program where they have a nurse line for me to contact if I have any questions. She said she was sending me out a box of baby items and that I’d get another when baby arrives. She also told me I can get a pump and sent me the list to choose from. I’m really glad I called! I’m paying for it so might as well utilize it. I’m also using my insurance to do physical therapy for my back and then pelvic floor therapy before and after baby comes. I use the shit out of my insurance.

Make sure you check each program you attend classes for. Any lactation classes can take away from postpartum IBCLC visits.

My insurance covered NOTHING (and still covers nothing 😭) I had to pay for ultrasounds, lab work, and a pump all out of pocket. Thank God I had a homebirth too bc that was WAAY cheaper than if I had a hospital birth. Currently in physical therapy and it’s cheaper for me to do the self pay option… I def will be getting different insurance…

This website is amazing! I got my pump, bags and replacement parts covered 100%! No joke, from the time I placed the order until receiving my pump & 300 bags was 1 week! Was extremely easy & I didn’t have to be a certain amount of weeks along to order!
