My therapist told me she was going to stop engaging with my jokes as part of my treatment plan (allegedly to get me to stop minimizing my feelings and experiences) that first session was UNBEARABLE. I was pulling out my best shit and just 😶 “that’s very funny, can you try it again without the humor?” No Kimberly. No I cannot

the rehab i used to work at was hysterical. when i first cut my hair short, they spent weeks calling me timmy (turner, fairly oddparents), then justin (bieber) and then they bought a tooth tunes toothbrush of bieber for christmas for me. left it on display in my office for years.
