Don’t buy in inkjet printer that uses cartridges; get one that you fill from bottles. They are barely more expensive and far cheaper and less annoying to run. Just don’t turn it upside down.

Because I teach at a very small school, I am both the high school maths teacher and the IT guy. I can fix most things with our network, our security system, even our HVAC. But I can't fix the printers, and any time my boss asks, I have to tell her that I just have no idea.

That, sucks. I, don't know much about their subscription services.. But(! if you find your printing running out of ink? Mainly, colours(cyan!!?. When, all you do is print in black-and-white? Just, tape over the leads. I, think it's electrical tape. They, may have fixed it.

I fully support anti-big printer content. Buying a printer in 2026 is so obviously a scam, they don’t even hide it, most products/industries are sneaky with their scams nowadays but not big printer.

My HP printer is a level 1 dick head and I hate it. If I need to print more than 4 pages I can’t. They must be printed in 4’s and no more or it stops altogether 🥀 launching it has been in my mind many many many times
