They diagnosed my cholestasis off my ALT/AST, I had no bile acid changes. And yet my cholestasis was so severe, I had to get an emergency induction. I hope they’re checking your ALT and AST levels !!

@Jen: My sister and I had “cholistasis of pregnancy” and it suuuuucked. Sorry you are going through it. Good news is that almost immediately after delivering it goes away.

I had a problem with my bile acids and had cholestasis and it sucked the itching was terrible but atirax helped with the itching and I was on meds to lower bile acids

I had a problem with itching when I was pregnant and my doctor said it was because the baby was on my bladder and it wasn’t emptying and it makes you itch.
