@seimple_life: Car Camping is MEANT for impromptu, last min, budget adventures 🙌 So here's some car camping window covers that can be made on the go and for only a few bucks 💁♀️ #carcamping #carcamper #roadtrip #carcamp #carcampinghacks
Did this the first time I went car camping and the condensation was intense which ruined the poster board. Switched to Reflectix with one side painted black and have now had the same ones in use for 3 years. Also use damp rid!!

love it! my question is how can I have both airflow and privacy overnight? i know there’s the big window covers that also allows wind to moderate temps but then it’s see through, and if i put up a board it blocks airflow?

we've got one side black and thermo foil on the other side to reflect sunlight during the day if necessary 👌

Reinforcing the back with cardboard and then gluing or stapling on a pretty fabric for the side that faces into the car is how I've made mine more cozy before. That foil trick is genius though, I'm gonna be using that for my next set!

spray bottle of water. cut to fit carpenter bags (the flat large lawn bags.) you have a blackout and extra insulation. peel and stick. dry off and fold neatly until next use. i use mine every day, so far for 3 months. flawless. youre welcome 🥰

tape handles are genius! I wanted insulation in my diy window covers too, so I did a layer of black fabric on the outside, then a layer of foil, then cardboard. then a decorative fabric on the inside side

you could make them with Eva foam, more sturdy and maybe a bit of insulation but still removable

Black Heat resistant paint, you are allowed to have the back window’s totally covered. In a SUV. I did mine. My front three I use that roll insulation. & front window shade from Walmart.

This is great for renegade urban car camping too! On any residential street to waiting overnight in a ferry line up! So worth it :)
