Ship your car if you can. I did that when I moved from RI to Texas for residency to prevent the added mileage on my car and it was just one less thing I had to worry about when studying for the NAPLEX and MPJE

I live at pierhouse in channelside. that one & bell channelside are the more affordable places (with bell being the cheapest, but also def less nice than pierhouse). being able to walk to publix, a couple different coffee shops & having pretty cheap monthly parking are rlly good benefits of living in that area. I’ve also lived at AVE tampa riverwalk. also super nice & affordable with a roommate but def not a 1 bed on that resident salary😭

it’s not quite Hyde park area but Westshore has a ton of cute places that are more affordable (only 15 min to Hyde park and 20ish minutes to st Pete!) it’s also close to grocery stores etc and more easier to drive around!

I heard Bell Chanelside apartments are pretty decent. It’s in downtown so its not too far from Davis Island and TGH. Its also fairly priced in comparison to the other apartments in downtown

I lived in Tampa for 2 years before moving to Illinois for pharmacy school! I lived at MAA Harbour Island, it’s across the river from the hockey stadium and about a 20 - 30 minute walk from the hospital you matched at! If you have any questions lmk!!!!
