you have to use a grout float so you can actually push it in. That shit is gonna crack within a couple months. especially on a floor

pretty sure that grout is spread wait 30 minutes ish the clean wait 2-3 hours and remove final haze..looks good same results but alot more work.. lucky your working with porcelain if it would have been natural stone it wouldn't have cleaned up.. ive ruined a landing in slate by waiting to long and using warm water from the trunk of my car it set ridiculously fast..

A good silicone grout float (on polished tile) I can least lie a mirror and light wipe up with a microfiber.

the advantage of using a grout float is you can remove 95% of the excess grout off the tile faces .. a lot less labor when cleaning
