![Shyun Ramen Bar is one of those spots where everything just hits the mark - comforting, flavourful, and super satisfying from start to finish. Nothing missed the mark, and every dish brought something good to the table. The spicy pork shoyu ($18.5) had a deep, rich broth with a nice kick and tender pork slices that soaked up all that flavour. The teriyaki chicken udon ($16.9) was hearty and well-balanced, with thick noodles and savoury chicken. The black pork chashu ($19) and chicken karaage miso ($19) were both standout ramen bowls - rich, filling, and full of umami. We added the special toppings ($12) which added an extra oomph. For sides, the karaage chicken ($9.5) was crispy, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. The takoyaki ($8.5) was soft inside with that nice outer crisp, and the agedashi tofu ($8.5) was silky with a delicate broth - a great lighter bite. To finish off, the iced matcha with matcha soft serve ($7.5) was the perfect dessert drink - creamy, earthy, and not too sweet. Shyun Ramen Bar is a solid go-to for comfort food that doesn’t disappoint. It’s the kind of place where you know whatever you order, it’s going to be good.
