Because the Bible says: “Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.” Hebrews 12:14, KJV So we cannot only stay in the comfort of saying, “God will forgive me.” We must also seek the answer: How can a person truly break free from sin? How can we stop being slaves to sin? How can we be cleansed, changed, and become people who truly obey God? The truth is this: The reason we cannot change is not that we are not sincere, and it is not that we have not tried hard enough. It is because many people only know the way of confession and repentance, but they do not yet know the truth by which God cleanses and changes people. We have understood the way of repentance, but we have not yet entered the way of being cleansed. The Lord Jesus said Himself: “I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.” “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth.” John 16:12-13, KJV These truths are the salvation God has prepared for us in the last days.
