Why I’m actually grateful for struggling on maternity pay 👇🏻 Living on maternity pay is tough. £187 per week, when minimum wage is over £400 per week. Your bills don’t stop. Food, nappies, and so much a baby needs. On less than half of minimum wage. I remember thinking how is anyone supposed to survive on this..it didn’t make sense. I loved being a mum and was desperate to stay home with my daughter, but it’s not that simple.. I thought my only options were: 👶🏼 stay home with my baby and scrape by 💔 barely see my daughter and go back to work to contribute The thought of missing out on my daughter’s life 5 days a week broke me. Even that didn’t make sense as full time childcare was more than my salary. I needed to find something flexible. That I could earn an income. From home, around my daughter. That’s when I found another mum on here who was doing exactly that, selling digital products she hadn’t even created herself. I was sceptical, doubted myself. But I was determined to find another way 🤍 That didn’t involve us struggling, Or missing out on my daughter growing up. That one decision changed everything. ✨ I now earn 4 figure months from my phone ✨ I took 14 months of maternity leave ✨ I was able to return to work part time ✨ And still spend most of my week with my daughter I didn’t have experience. I didn’t have a social following. I was just brave enough to try 🪄 And if I didn’t struggle on £187 per week maternity pay, maybe I would have never tried at all 💫 If you’re reading this - take this as your sign. 💌 if you’re curious to know more comment or message me LEARN and I’ll send you my free guide on how I got started. Don’t forget to be following me so I can message you 🤍 #maternityleave #earnfromhome #mumlife #sahm #maternitypay Disclaimer: these are my personal results. Results based on individual effort.
