@benthekenthousebuyer: I always knew I wanted to invest in property. Straight from school I started an apprenticeship and worked hard to save money. I realised it would take a long time to save enough to buy a property but I met someone that introduced me to garages. With a much lower barrier to entry I decided garages would be the best place to start. With the money I had saved I started exploring all routes to finding these garages to buy. After spending months on this I finally came across a garage in south London and the lady was selling due to her relocating. I negotiated her down on the price and purchased the property through solicitors. I then refurbished the property with a new roof and door, and I painted the inside. I then instructed an estate agent to sell it for me and it sold for £28,000 within 2 weeks. This made me £13,000 in profit at age 20. I now purchase rundown properties anywhere in the UK and I pay referral fees to anyone who introduces a property to me. Please reach out if you know of any for sale.
