Le français est la langue officielle, au delà des langues régionales comme le basque et le breton qui sont parlés en hexagone en outre mers d’autres langues sont parlés et parfois plus que le français.

She's absolutely right! I'd even say that English isn't necessarily hard but we do have bad teachers that don't really convey the love of learning different languages.
