We had Hydrox at home when I was a kid. Oreos had lard back then, and my parents were anti-lard. We couldn't have Hostess,snacks at home for a similar reason.

I remember eating Hydrox as a young kid back in the late 1950s and early '60s. I liked them for their denser crunchier cookie.
