I just realize where I’m at now that where I’m standing and living was at the bottom of the ocean millions of years ago and I’ve dug up fossils and things purely by accident not even digging in the mountains just in the normal ground and I come up with these finds it’s truly fascinating and then I remind me when I was a child that and then I was so interested Roxanne make it look at them out and see the layers and layers and layers from when the ocean rise and subsided and rise and subsided and then thinking about the millions of years it took from the ocean from where I am living to where it is now in Mount Saint Helens was underwater millions of years ago the three sisters were under the ocean millions of years ago Mount Shasta was under the ocean 3 million years ago Mount Adams was underneath the ocean millions of years ago and they were active but they were just underneath the ocean so deep then when the ocean subsided to where it is today then they became normal mountains with snow cabs and snow tops but they’re still active volcanoes the same way they were millions of years ago and they supported life all around them underneath the ocean in the state of Washington fascinating thank you for the post I love looking at all the things I’ve dug up here since I moved here and I never went looking for anyone of them and then many other fossils but I never went looking for and I dug up even fascinating to dig up coil that had been untouched by man fascinating thank you for your post

Check out the west side right across from where you are. Huge mountain side cliff. Access from the park

I have a boatload of coral from the early Devonian era. Found it due to erosion at Lake Ontario right outside of Rochester.
