How have I only just discovered this Apple concept video? 🤯 'Knowledge Navigator' - a concept video from the Apple team in 1987 shows an AI agent running on a tablet - years before Siri, consumer artificial intelligence or the iPad existed. It was devised by John Sculley, Apple’s then-CEO, as part of his Knowledge Navigator vision. In the video, a professor interacts with an AI assistant that understands natural language, retrieves information instantly, and even schedules meetings.
