As someone who recently had skin cancer and had surgery and everything I can say that my oncologist at Ceder Sinai has never once recommended a specific type or brand of sunscreen just that I use sunscreen anytime I’m outside. So this is literally just for content. Just wear sunscreen that’s 50+ people.

Pushing the anti-chemical/pro-mineral propaganda is wild. By all means, chemical sunscreens in the US can be irritating, but that doesn’t mean its protective value is less. Mineral sunscreens leave white casts and can be astringent.
