Eu fiz cirurgia bariátrica há 16 anos. Mas a verdade é que eu só comecei a treinar de verdade há uns 6 anos… e focar em hipertrofia com constância tem mais ou menos 2 anos. Durante muito tempo eu tive muita flacidez nos braços, e foi justamente por isso que eu senti necessidade de fazer a cirurgia reparadora. Eu não me arrependo de ter feito. Foi algo importante pra mim naquele momento. Mas hoje, olhando pra trás, eu também tenho muita clareza de uma coisa: se eu tivesse começado a treinar direitinho desde o início, talvez eu nem precisasse ter feito essa cirurgia. Treino de força muda muito o corpo do bariátrico. Muito mesmo.
