you what is funny i been living in Schenectady for 27 years and my husband and his family live here for 32 years and when we used to go queens to visit we would go on liberty ave to buy out fish veggies meats and other things that you need in guyanese household because we had only one west Indian store here... as soon as guyanese ppl in queens hear that you come from Schenectady my god if you hear how bad they would talk about Schenectady that its not a good place to live the water no good ect... anyways fast forward to now... im happy that Schenectady is on the rise and half of the guyanese that was living in queens basement move here and have a home..
