OP should consider joining a loss/grief support group. It’d help fill the social void left by the “friends”, she could meet people who understand her situation, and maybe learn some new coping skills to boot.

I didnt even listen to the whole thing, maybe 15 seconds. friend setting up a blind date after 2 weeks of her husband passing?! like that blows my mind. If i lost my husband, the only reason id probably be out of bed is to take care of our pets.
