Terakawa Ramen was authentic when I went 10 years ago. Reminded me of places in Japan. Yamitsuki was also not bad. Never saw a need to go anywhere else. It's just ramen.

worst part of philly is the utter lack of proper middle tier red sauce italian joints. places you can get big, cheap trays of pasta, hot sandwiches. all the italian joints are either pizza spots or upscale restaurants. mad annoying.
