My Pembroke Welsh corgi came to me when I was looking into getting a Doberman for sports. She taught me that EVERYTHING I knew about not just dogs, but animals in general was wrong. She was super dog aggressive and particular. Everything I had to learn for her not only reshaped my views on animals, but on myself. The amount of confidence I’ve gained in myself and the relationships I’ve managed to build with not only animals, but people, made it all worth it. Roxy ended up being the most amazing dog I’ll ever know. She was my soulmate and she impacted me for the rest of my life. I’ll never be able to thank that scrappy hellhound enough.
