here's is a another idea. raise taxes, cut spending, increase gdp. a multi angle approach. I'm no expert but maybe dont have government agencies spend all their money, to justify a bigger budget and if they can save money, then save money.

If you want to get the economy booming and more taxes in to pay down the national debt we need the rich to pay their fair share and lower taxes on the middle class cause who buys things all the time? The people with less always want more. If middle class has more money they’ll buy more goods which means more sales tax and more income for businesses and then more taxes paid to the government.
